The purpose of the National Water Week is extremely important as many people still don’t have access to this source of life.

In his 2012 State of the Nation Address, president Jacob Zuma said 95 percent of households had access to water. The very same year, the General Household Survey disagreed and stated that the number was in fact much lower.
