The Port of Port Elizabeth is getting a facelift. It will be transformed into a multi-million rand futuristic smart port that will host a new car terminal and international convention centre.

The immediate challenge is to relocate the manganese facility to the nearby Port of Ngqura. The overhaul is part of the National Ports Authority’s injection of over three hundred billion rand into South African Ports over the next seven years. – SABC Digital
