Amid a severe national water crisis, South Africa is looking to Denmark for solutions. The European country is being roped in to provide critical skills to help address the water shortages.

Water and Sanitation Minister Nomvula Mokonyane met her Danish counterpart in Water and Sanitation on Monday.

The two signed a memorandum of understanding aimed at tackling the water problem.

At the weekend, Mokonyane warned that her department may have to reduce water supplies.
