fastjet has increased its flights between OR Tambo International in Johannesburg and Zimbabwe’s Harare International Airport.
It now offers 26 weekly flights between the airports, comprising two daily flights six days a week, and a single round-trip on Saturdays. The airline currently departs Harare at 06h15 and lands in Johannesburg at 07h55. The return flight takes off from Johannesburg at 08h40 and arrives in Harare at 10h15.An evening flight will depart Harare at 18h50, landing in Johannesburg at 20h30. The return flight will depart Johannesburg at 21h15 and touchdown in Harare at 22h50.
The carrier says the increased flight frequency will be phased in, with Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday evening flights commencing on 26 February, and evening flights on Tuesdays and Thursday’s beginning on 28 March.
