“Some areas in Tswaing have had major improvement in water supply; in Delareyville four boreholes were rehabilitated and Kopela had three boreholes refurbished and 100 taps were installed,” the department said.
Sedibeng Water has replaced leaking panels on the elevated steel tank in Khunwana and Mofufutso 1 and 2, refurbished eight boreholes and installed a transformer in Delareyville. Nine boreholes were also equipped to meet the water demand in Letsopa Ext 6. Furthermore, three new boreholes have been drilled in Geysdorp, one new borehole in Manamolela and new boreholes in Majaneng were equipped. Pipeline reticulation sorted “In all these villages, pipeline reticulation has been completed, while work on the erection of pump houses has already commenced.
