Arnold Loois (45) has joined Serco in the position of production manager at the truck and trailer body building company’s Cape Town branch.
Arnold, who grew up in Kroonstad in the Free State, attended the Marais Viljoen Technical High School in Alberton where he completed an N3 Fitting and Turning qualification. Previous to his appointment at Serco, he was production manager at liquor manufacturers Distell where he enjoyed more than 20 years’ service. Arnold said he was very happy to have made the move to Serco and was enjoying the working environment there.“My role at Serco is to manage the production process, making sure we meet targets while adhering to our strict high-quality standards. I work with a great team who are committed and loyal. I foresee only good things for the Cape Town branch.”
Arnold is married to Liza and they have two children, Charlize (21), who is studying viticulture at Stellenbosch University, and Maurice (24), who is a production engineer based in Alberton.
