Construction of the bulk water supply from the Nandoni Scheme to the Giyani Water Works is set to resume following a legal battle between Lepelle Northern Water and Esor Construction.
“Their reasons to launch a court interdict was concerning appointment and requested information about LNW bid document through the PAIA. As a law abiding institution, we have furnished them with every detailed of information they have requested hence we are utterly happy to be given the green light to proceed with the project [sic],” Lepelle Northen Water said in a statement.
“We are very delighted to welcome the positive ruling from the High Court for clearing up the matter. We believe the outcomes were taken in the best interest of the community. We shall begin with our mandate of providing bulk water to our stakeholders. We further urge people to use water sparingly.”
