Cityspec is a mobile tool that is used to help improve basic service delivery in under resourced areas.

The app allows users to log fault reports which gets sent to the system’s administration dashboard. Once reports are received, the appropriate municipalities are contacted. The status of repairs are thereafter monitored by the app which users can follow up on.

The app is currently being used in Cape Town’s Monwabisi Park, and community members as well as the project’s coordinators reflect on its usefulness.
