“Restrictions are over,” says Water and Sanitation Minister Nomvula Mokonyane.

The minister opened the sluice gates at the Vaal Dam on Sunday afternoon after water levels fast approached 100% capacity. At the opening she said that because “we are a dry country, we will never have enough water,” and emphasised water wise habits.
