A project that was started by cleaning the beach has resulted in many little children now having a school to attend. The project began 10 years ago when women recyclers brought their children to work. Children were initially taught with the use of a blackboard under a tree, and with the help of local recyclers, a school has now been built and revenue streams have also increased.
