Western Cape water crisis should be declared a national disaster: Zille | Infrastructure news

Western Cape Premier, Helen Zille, has written to the Presidency asking that a national disaster is declared. This as dam levels in the province start dropping to below 30 percent and Day Zero looms large.

Zille says the response comes after the city of Cape Town said it seems unavoidable that taps would run dry. Zille met with officials of the Provincial Disaster Task Team Coordination.
