This installment of Going Green we look at the warming of oceans – one of the effects of global warming. Measuring the magnitude and the rate at which the oceans are warming is a complex process.

But, according to a report from the UN Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, the earth today is about 1-degree centigrade hotter than pre-industrial levels because of climate change. And that’s enough to melt up to 44% of glaciers worldwide.
