Cape Town embraces trenchless technology | Infrastructure news

The City of Cape Town adopted the use of trenchless technology as early as the mid-1990s. Speaking at the opening of the 2018 International No-Dig South Africa conference held in Cape Town earlier this year, Cape Town deputy mayor Ian Neilson stated that the city ultimately plans to replace its entire 20 000 km sewer and water network using trenchless technology.
