The Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality says it welcomes the declaration made by the Minister of Co- operative Governance and Traditional Affairs Dr Nkosazana Zuma, to declare South Africa as national disaster area. The declaration was made due to the impact of persisting drought conditions in many parts of the country.
