Resource Magazine Is Relaunching In 2025 | Infrastructure news

The Institute of Waste Management of Southern Africa (IWMSA) has formed a partnership with a business-to-business publishing company – Infrastructure News – to relaunch Resource Magazine.

As the only integrated resources and waste management magazine in Southern Africa, Resource is a quarterly print and digital publication that covers the length and breadth of the waste sector.

“The generation of unsustainable waste continues to increase at great cost and risk to society, yet a circular economy approach that transforms waste into a valuable resource could resolve this crisis and unlock economic potential for the African continent. I cannot think of a better name for the magazine, and I am thrilled to have the privilege of showcasing the technologies, products, services, research, innovative case studies and regulation that is driving industry transformation,” says Kirsten Kelly, publisher of Resource Magazine.

IWMSA is a multi-disciplinary non-profit association that is committed to supporting professional waste management practices. The organisation promotes environmentally acceptable, cost effective and appropriate waste management practices.

“Our goal is to protect both the environment and the people of Southern Africa from the harmful impacts of inadequate waste management by promoting sustainable, best-practice environmental solutions. Resource, the official magazine of the IWMSA, will deliver key updates from the waste sector and serve as a vital platform for our members,” says Nicolle de Bruyn, Executive Officer of IWMSA.

The magazine will be sent out for free to all IWMSA members as well as to a hand-picked subscribers from Infrastructure News’ large database of professionals working in the municipal, manufacturing, mining, equipment, energy, consulting engineers and wastewater sectors.

Please do not hesitate to contact IWMSA and Infrastructure News for more information.
