The Institute of Waste Management of Southern Africa (IWMSA) invites industry professionals, environmental enthusiasts, and community stakeholders to an exclusive event showcasing two remarkable waste management initiatives. Attendees will have the opportunity to visit the VenterFert Composting Site and the Noziqhamo Recycling Centre, followed by a networking function at the scenic Algoa Bay Yacht Club in Gqeberha.
This event highlights the innovative contributions of these facilities to the Circular Economy through waste reuse and recycling. The VenterFert Composting Site, a privately owned and scientifically operated facility near Kariega, transforms organic waste into high-quality compost. Meanwhile, the Noziqhamo Recycling Centre in Motherwell and Swartkops empowers and educates the community through sustainable waste management practices.
