AWSISA Water & Sanitation Webinar: Dr Molwantwa & Prof Ewerts - Infrastructure news

78 days to go until the biggest Water and Sanitation Dialogue Africa and the Global South has seen. We start our weekly webinars with a conversation that hopes to impart knowledge and a better understanding for all about the current state of water and sanitation in the country.

In conversation with Professor Ewerts, Dr Molwantwa, the CEO of the Water Research Commission (WRC), will expand on ethical servant leadership as well as her journey in the water sector. The conversation aims to touch on the themes that she has worked to implement in her career and how they align with those that will be workshopped at the dialogue in November. Dr Molwantwa has expertise ranging from policy innovation to governance, we believe that she will be able to share valuable insights to all that attend the webinar.

This webinar will be the first step in highlighting the journey of AWSISA as well as some of the outcomes intended to be presented at the dialogue. Outcomes like a general greater awareness of some of the challenges faced in the water and sanitation sector as well as sharing the best practices and innovative solutions.

The three-day event that sets to bring together over 1500 delegates from across the world is a first of its kind in South Africa. We urge all members and non-members to secure their place and ensure that their voice is heard.

With a wide variety of topics being covered, this is an opportunity for people from various industries to participate. The food industry, the mining industry, the agricultural industry as well as the private sector can all benefit from this dialogue.

The dialogue is the perfect opportunity for young professionals in various industries to learn about the water and sanitation sector. This is an exciting opportunity for young professionals as well as students to gain mentorship from industry leaders.

AWSISA aims to modernise STEM education and outreach, and the dialogue is the perfect opportunity for various members to share their insights into how this can be achieved. We can’t wait to recognise all the youth innovators that we meet at the dialogue in November.
