The SWAN Cape Town Workshop 2026 is set to convene Africa’s leading water utilities, private sector innovators, and global experts for three days of high-impact collaboration focused on the future of smart water and utility resilience.

Taking place from 9–11 March 2026, the workshop will welcome 20 utility speakers from across Africa, alongside influential private sector representatives, for in-depth discussions, technical masterclasses, and interactive roundtables addressing the most pressing challenges and opportunities in the water sector.

Hosted in partnership with the City of Cape Town, the event will also feature an exclusive, limited-capacity study tour, offering participants firsthand insight into Cape Town’s pioneering approach to water and sanitation resilience.

Expert-Led Masterclasses and Interactive Sessions

Attendees can expect a robust programme designed to deliver practical, actionable insights, including masterclasses on:

  • Leveraging Private-Sector Water Risk Analytics

In addition, interactive roundtables will explore topics such as:

  • Cape Town Study Tour: Limited Spaces Available.
The Cape Town Study Tour will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis, with registration strictly limited. The tour will showcase real-world examples of how Cape Town is strengthening water security and building long-term resilience in the face of climate and infrastructure pressures.
