Renewable energy production is taking shape all over South Africa. This year will see several wind farms start to supply electricity as part of the Independent Power Producers programme. But electricity generation with solar energy is also happening with the 50 megawatt De Aar solar plant which is due to come on line soon.
This was revealed at the Southern African Solar Energy conference taking place in Port Elizabeth.
