Botshelo Water, which is responsible for water provision and infrastructure development in the Ngaka Modiri Molema District municipality in the North West, has been disbanded.
Water and Sanitation Minister, Nomvula Mokonyane, has promised that no jobs will be lost and no services will be disrupted when the plant closes.
This comes as the state of water services in the area is a cause of concern.
