Working in the construction industry is often considered dangerous; each day the workers face the risk of injury or death.
In South Africa at least two deaths occur every week on a construction site. The South African Council for the Project and Construction Management Professions are due to register over three thousand construction health and safety professionals this year, which will meet the demand for the new national infrastructure plan.In this video SABC’s Eben Jansen talks to Construction Health and Safety Executive Anthony Forgey, from the SACPCM.
