As South Africa’s electricity production woes continue to make headlines, the renewable energy sector continues to grow, especially in the wind generation sector.
The Eastern Cape is the main producer of wind driven electricity as the independent power producers programme continues to expand.
Wind energy will deliver ONE-thousand 850 megawatts of electricity once the projects in the first phase of this programme is fully operational.
