The imminent completion of the Dedisa Peaking Power Plant in Port Elizabeth couldn’t have come at a better time.
It will provide 342 megawatts of power to the national grid during peak hour. The 3.5 billion Dedisa Peaking Power Plant is one of the key investment projects at the Coega Industrial Development Zone. It consists of two open cycle gas turbines.After completion the two projects will sell electricity to Eskom for 15 years.
