Residents of Khutsong on Gauteng’s West Rand are threatening violence…That’s if their local municipality doesn’t fix the sewage system which they say has been faulty for a year.

The municipal services are so inadequate that people in the area have lost all hope in the system. From eating to hanging laundry the residents of Khutsong are constantly facing this health hazard.

The local municipality attributes the problem to a lack of equipment.
