The lives of some of the City of Cape Town’s most vulnerable citizens will change soon as construction of the Valhalla Park Housing Development kicks off
“It is the start of a new life for our beneficiaries and bringing dreams to fruition as they become property owners, which can unlock economic opportunities,” says Benedicta van Minnen, the City’s Mayoral Committee Member for Human Settlements.
“The City will continue to make every effort to ensure that this housing development is completed so that its beneficiaries can have access to improved living conditions, she notes. “With construction commencing, the City is very excited to be contributing towards building better lives for vulnerable residents and we encourage communities to support us in our efforts,’ concludes Van Minnen. Beneficiaries will be allocated from Valhalla Park as well as from other areas, in accordance with the Housing Allocation Policy.
