South Africa is forging ahead with hydrogen and fuel cell technology.

The country’s first hydrogen refuelling station has been opened on Gauteng’s East Rand.

The project is a collaboration between the Science and Technology Department, Impala Platinum, Hydrogen SA and the University of the Western Cape.

It’s another endeavour to make our carbon footprint smaller.
