Over the course of a week, four international student teams representing South Africa, Australia, India and the United States of America worked together to design and install a series of new communal toilet facilities for the residents of Diepsloot

Hosted in July 2016 by WASSUP Diepsloot (the Water, Amenities, Sanitation Services Upgrade Programme) and DACN (Diepsloot Arts & Culture Network), in collaboration with Healthabitat Sanitation Studio, Community Plumbing Challenge 2016 was organised by IAPMO (International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials) in association with the World Plumbing Council.
