It’s a positive thing that the courts have ruled that the nuclear industry needs to go back to the drawing board, says Dr David Fig, an environmental sociologist focusing on energy politics in South Africa.
Fig also discusses some of the terms of the agreement with Russia which would have given the country access to our energy industry and not held it responsible in the event accidents occurred.
