Johannesburg, September 26 — A national strike by truck drivers turned violent in Gauteng on Tuesday. The protesters stoned vehicles in the Johannesburg Central Business District. They are demanding a 12 percent wage increase. According to the Road Freight Association, all unions have rejected the latest offer of nine percent.
