The BCOCC website (Border Control Coordinating Committee) went live on 1 April 2013 – www.saborders.gov.za.

The BCOCC is an affiliated structure of the Justice, Crime Prevention and Security Cluster that was mandated in 2005 to strategically manage the South African border environment and consist of a number of Government institutions working together, i.e.: National Intelligence; Departments of Home Affairs, Transport, Public Works, Agriculture, Health and Defence ; South African Police Service (SAPS)  and SARS.
