NAAMSA (National Association of Automobile Manufacturers of South Africa) has said the overall new vehicle sales for March are in line with expectations.
During March 14 794 light commercial vehicles were sold reflecting an increase of 189 units or 1,3% compared to the 14605 light commercial vehicles sold during the corresponding month last year.In the medium and heavy truck segments showed 1015 units and 1541 units were sold respectively. This reflectsan increase of 32 units or 3,3% in the case of medium commercial vehicles, and a decline of 27 units or 1,7% in the case of heavy trucks and buses, compared to the corresponding month last year.
