The Road freight Association says following on from the success of the Industry in opposing the CBRTA in their implementation of the tariffs published in December 2010, the CBRTA has published a new gazette for comment. This gazette has the new proposed tariffs as well as other aspects of tariff regulation and changes to the CBRTA Act.
Members are urged to send their comments to Gavin Kelly (gkelly@rfa.co.za) at the RFA by 10 December so that a consolidated response from the Association can be sent to the Minister of Transport. Please note that the CBRTA has once again displayed its intention by publishing a closing date after 16 December – a period when most administrative components of companies would have closed for the Festive Season. The RFA will submit consolidated comment to the Department of Transport on 12 December.
