Mocuba district becomes Special Economic Zone | Infrastructure news

In a move that is intended to contribute to the development of the Zambézia province the Mozambique has made the district of Mocuba as a Special Economic Zone (SEZ).

The Mocuba Special Economic Zone, covers an area of 10,727 square kilometres, and is situated near to where the Macuse deep water port is being built.

Mozambique will now have three SEZ areas– Mocuba, Nacala and Beira.
