Leading Transport into the Future | Infrastructure news

The Southern African Transport Conference (SATC) 2014 has confirmed its speaker-line-up and it includes leading names in the industry who boast years of experience and rank highly in their fields.

Taking place between July 7 – 10, 2014, SATC will actively explore the latest in transport from both a local and international perspective under the theme, “Leading Transport into the Future”.

During the 4 day conference taking place at the CSIR International Convention Centre in Pretoria, transport experts from the private and public sectors will tackle critical transport issues on the African continent through a series of action-based networking events, plenary sessions, panel discussions and workshops.

Topics that will be discussed include Urban Transport: Policy and Planning,  Transport for Rural Development and Capacity Building, Public Transport: Planning and Regulation, Infrastructure, Transport Systems and Operations, Traffic Engineering, Freight and Logistics as well as a  BRT Workshop amongst other topics.

Dipuo Peters, Minister of Transport, will officially open the conference on July 7, 2014.
