Regulations for the safe transport of dangerous goods by road have been issued by the Department of Cooperate Governance for comment in Government Gazette 37671.

Notice 379 – Fire Brigade Services Act (99/1987): Regulations: The Safe transportation of dangerous goods by road in terms of section 15 (1) (e) and (3) of the Act – Transport of dangerous goods – Inspection requirements of road vehicles for the issue of municipal dangerous goods transport permits.

Comments must be submitted by 31 July 2014 and the Gazette is available at www.gpwonline.co.za .
