This is a showcase of the successes of the NEPAD Business Foundation’s Removing the Barriers in Agriculture (RtB) programme and its implementation vehicle the Southern African Agriculture Development Partnership Platform (SAADPP).

The SAADPP initiative is a private sector-led partnership platform aimed at identifying and removing barriers to agricultural development, investments and trade in Southern Africa. The objective of the initiative is to mobilise, institutionalise and increase the voice of the private sector in addressing policy constraints that affect agricultural development, trade and investment in the sub-region. Specifically, the platform seeks to unlock investment and trade bottlenecks as well as remove barriers to increased private sector involvement in agriculture development.
