Kenya Airways Cargo has won the Best African Airline category for the third year running at the Air Cargo News Cargo Airline of the Year awards 2015.
Air Cargo News readers voted it top in service excellence, reliability and sustainable performance in moving cargo to and from the African region. Katrina Hanson accepted the Award on behalf of the company during a gala dinner attended by more than 400 people in Lancaster London Hotel in the UK.“This award is a testament to the hard work and dedication of everyone at KQ Cargo,” said KQ Cargo General Manager, Dick Murianki. “We aim to support the growing demand for air cargo business in Africa with enhanced levels of connectivity, flexibility, reliability as well as providing quality innovation solutions with a relentless focus on improving service to our customers,” he added.
The African continent remains a key market for the company, with massive trading potential. Its new route to Hanoi in Vietnam is expected to buoy cargo traffic as the airline becomes the first to connect Africa to the Asian country.
