Isuzu Trucks throws weight behind local range | Infrastructure news

Isuzu Trucks has increased the GVM of several of its models in the interests of better payload productivity and cost-per-kilometre returns.

The GVM of the Isuzu FTR850 has been increased from 15 tonnes to 15.5 tonnes, while the Isuzu FVM now offers 24 tonnes, up from 22 tonnes. The GVM of FVZ models from Isuzu has also been increased, from 24 tonnes to 25.1 tonnes.

The company is also undertaking testing of a new compressed natural gas (CNG) truck, as well as a diesel-hybrid electric truck for the South African market to assess the suitability and viability of these products.
