From 8 to 10 July 2025, analytica Lab Africa will open its doors in Johannesburg, showcasing 137 exhibitors in total. The spotlight will be on cutting-edge German technology. Leading companies will present innovative solutions from the fields of laboratory, analysis, and biotechnology at the official German Pavilion. The joint stand is organised by the German industry association SPECTARIS and supported by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action of Germany (BMWK).
“analytica Lab Africa is the leading platform for laboratory and analysis technology on the African continent,” says Susanne Grödl, Exhibition Director of analytica shows worldwide at Messe München.“We are delighted that so many German companies are using the trade fair to showcase their innovative products and solutions to an international audience of experts. With 13 exhibitors, the German Pavilion highlights Africa’s significance as a future market for the laboratory industry.” The industry association SPECTARIS also emphasises the strategic importance of the trade fair. For many companies, participating in the fair is part of a long-term internationalization strategy aimed at opening up new markets and tailoring solutions to the requirements of local industries such as mining, pharmaceuticals, environmental monitoring and food safety. In addition, analytica Lab Africa offers an ideal opportunity to meet decision-makers from laboratories, research institutions and procurement departments, as well as potential sales partners, in order to establish sustainable business relationships in Southern Africa. “The German Pavilion and all its exhibitors are truly excited to be part of analytica Lab Africa this year, as it presents a valuable opportunity to strengthen our presence in Southern Africa and gain deeper insights into this dynamic and rapidly evolving region,” says Jennifer Goldenstede, Head of Foreign Trade and Export Promotion at SPECTARIS.
“For us, the event is more than just a showcase – it is a strategic platform to explore new distribution channels, connect with both established dealers and potential end-users, and better understand the specific application fields that are driving demand in the region.”
