Taps around the country could soon run dry if municipalities fail to settle their outstanding water debt. The Department of Water and Sanitation has revealed plans to issue water cut notices to the top 30 defaulting municipalities, who will likely face water cuts by Friday 08 December 2017 if they fail to settle all their water debt older than 60 days.
