Vaal River clean-up by SANDF comes to an end

Water and Sanitation Minister Lindiwe Sisulu has appealed to the Vaal community not to vandalise infrastructure around the Vaal river system. At least 200 soldiers were deployed to repair waste water treatment plants in the area in 2018. The Ekurhuleni Water Care Company will now take over the rehabilitation project.
