There has been an increase in planned maintenance and generation thanks to the implementation of the Tetris maintenance planning tool.As a result of the planned maintenance plant availability has improved to 74.4% as of 16 November 2015 and system stability has improved since August this year.
Eskom is also actively managing its debt with municipalities through payment agreements signed with 50 defaulting municipalities, which include 15 of the top 20.
