Cape Town International Airport scooped the award for Africa’s Leading Airport at the 2017 World Travel Awards Africa. The awards evening, which was held in Kigali, Rwanda this year, is among the continent’s most prestigious travel and tourism events of the year, and brings together leading travel sector figures and VIPs from across Africa. “Cape Town International Airport is delighted to have received this accolade as it recognises the commitment to excellence which has been shown by the whole of Airports Company South Africa and this particular airport in the past 12 months,” said Cape Town International Airport General Manager, Deon Cloete.
