Packaging industry called to comment on IWMP | Infrastructure news

With recent legislation calling for a paper and packaging industry waste management plan the Polyolefin Recycling Company (Polyco) is urging stakeholders from the sector to give their input.

Polyco, a not-for-profit industry body formed by the polyolefin converters themselves, is hosting stakeholder engagement sessions around the country with the aim of encouraging affected parties to have their say.

“As affected stakeholders, we are encouraging you to join us at the Polyco IWMP stakeholder sessions to view the prepared plan,” the organisation said.

“We will value your input to ensure the IWMP meets all your industry sector’s legislative requirements,” it added.

According to Polyco their IWMP will be submitted as part of the PackagingSA Federation of plans.
